Safety record continues to improve
A new report from Allianz suggests the maritime industry is continuing to improve on its safety record, as Rahul Khanna, of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, reveals

to the health of the global economy. The maritime industry continued to improve its safety record in 2014 with 75 total losses
reported worldwide; the lowest in 10 years, according to Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty’s third annual Safety and Shipping
Review, which analyses reported shipping losses of more than 100 GT.
