Technology approval

ServoCore, the commercial-off-the-shelf alarm, monitoring and control solution Servowatch Systems introduced last year, has received type approval from Lloyd’s Register. UK-based Servowatch adapted the technology to meet the commercial requirements of the merchant shipping industry. Certification follows the successful type approval in July of ServoSentinel, Servowatch’s advanced embedded computer module for marine applications where more extensive system integration and platform management is required. Successful type approval of the computer module was crucial to Servowatch receiving LR certification for the ServoCore solution.
