Russian show grows

The organisers of NEVA, the premier commercial maritime business-to-business event in Russia, have announced that exhibitor participation has reached record levels. The announcement comes amid recent news of increasing opportunity for international partners within Russia. Maxim Kochetkov, director of the Department for Shipbuilding and Maritime Technologies at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, spoke of the intention for Russia to build more than 1,200 ships, sea craft and other units of maritime technologies by 2030.
