Training centre

The Djibouti government has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring timely completion of the Djibouti Regional Training Centre in Doraleh, Djibouti, which will be vital in the provision of security training in east Africa. Said Nouh Hassan, secretary general of the Ministry of Transport and Equipment, reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring the centre is completed in line with the amended Memorandum of Understanding signed with the International Maritime Organization. This requires the centre to be completed by 31 October this year, prior to an inauguration ceremony no later than 18 November 2015.
