Black Sea crisis aggravates

All the Black Sea countries, Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and the new Black Sea state of Moldova, have their own special rules. The Black Sea Region is unique, thus it is crucial to determine the rules of conduct applied to members of the maritime industry. The Black Sea is recognised as the worst place in the world for vessel condition and in terms of vessel operations. Representatives of the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) were the first to make this public in their report “Black Sea of Shame”.
