The review book replaces Davison and Snelson on Towage (1990) in the LLP text series. The litigational developments from the widened bearing of off-shore sectoral activity, standard form contracts, liability limitation in the English law applicable to the subject-matter, more or less since Bucknill on Tug and Tow (1913, 1927), necessitated the new book.
