This book is an absolutely outstanding example of its type. A reviewer of the first edition 12 years ago was quite correct to say that “… this is genuinely one of the few law books that a common lawyer simply cannot afford to be without”, even if it now costs him £118 not to be without it. This edition is even better, with improvements that make up for the loss of material on consumer hire-purchase contracts and the chapter on carriage of goods by sea (land and air remain).
