This book treats the Code of Maritime Procedure of the Republic of Panama to be found in Law No. 8 of 30 March 1982, subsequently amended by Law No. 11 of 23 May 1986 in order to update the admiralty rules and procedures. It is a book which would prove useful to the practitioner of Maritime Law, not only in Panama but to any law firm which may have an interest in the maritime law of that country. The book itself is beautifully printed and bound.
This book, written by Dr de Alba, the head of the Admiralty Department of the law firm of Morgan and Morgan in Panama, is divided into two, albeit uneven, parts. The bulk of the book (some 150 pages) provides the English version, of the Maritime Code of Panama. This
