ACCESS TO JUSTICE - THE INTERIM REPORT OF LORD WOOLF

Lord Woolf was appointed by the Lord Chancellor in March 1994 to review the current Rules and Procedures of the Civil Courts in England and Wales, with a view of improving access to justice, reducing the cost of litigation, reducing complexity, modernising technology and removing unnecessary distinctions of practice and procedure. After a year of fairly well publicised consultation, he has now published his Interim Report.
