The title “Business Law” is of little assistance to those concerned to identify the content of a book adopting such a rubric and the choice of content is inevitably open to criticism as somewhat arbitrary in the absence of a principled explanation of choice. The authors of this book have not embarked upon any philosophical rationale for their choice of material but do indicate that the book is primarily intended to serve those studying law, otherwise than on pure law courses, up to and including undergraduate level.
