New US business

Sompo Canopius has launched a US ocean marine business. John Ellis has been appointed head of the new business, in what the company called “a significant expansion” of Sompo Canopius’ US operations. Global head of marine Mike Southgate said: “It has become increasingly clear that to be competitive in this market, we need a presence in New York, closer to the business and our clients.”
