Georgia training

The International Maritime Organization is continuing its support for developing countries to prevent air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions from ships, with an exercise in Georgia. Participants were trained to use three new draft guides, covering rapid assessment for determining the country’s maritime energy efficiency and emissions status, maritime energy efficiency strategy development, and incorporation of Marpol Annex VI into national law.
