NEON APPOINTS WADE AND HAYES TO MANAGING AGENCY BOARD

Neon has added Michael Wade and Simon Hayes to its managing agency board as non-executive directors. Wade recently served as executive chairman of Besso Insurance Group, and has 30 years’ experience in the Lloyd’s market. He is currently a senior advisor to the Cabinet Office, having served as crown representative for insurance at the Cabinet Office between 2013 and 2015. Wade also previously served on the Council and Committee of Lloyd’s. Simon Hayes, currently chairman of Peel Hunt, has also joined the Neon board. Hayes has 20 years’ experience in financial services, having started his career at Lloyd’s underwriting agency Methuen. From Methuen, he joined Peel Hunt as an equity research analyst, specialising in the insurance sector. Both appointments are subject to regulatory approval.
