BRIT HIRES CARR TO LAUNCH US CYBER TEAM

Brit has launched a new US based cyber and technology team which will become part of Brit Global Specialty USA. Michael Carr has been appointed senior vice president to lead the operation, having joined from Argo Group. In his previous role, Carr served as Argo’s technology practice leader, and he has spent the past 14 years focused on underwriting cyber and technology business. For the past three years, he has also served as a founding co-chair of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society’s Cyber Symposium. Brit said the launch of a US based cyber team will complement and enhance its current London based platform by offering local expertise and service to meet the growing demand for cyber and technology products in the US SME sector.
