FCA consults on pay incentive rules for consumer credit firms

Consumer credit firms are being consulted on a new rule to protect customers from the effects of remuneration and incentive schemes. Nearly two-thirds (64 per cent) of firms whose primary business is not financial services have compensation schemes that pose “a high, or very high, risk of customer detriment”, according to the Financial Conduct Authority.
