Care Quality Commission Report critical of hospital inquiries

A report published by the Care Quality Commission into the way in which deaths, particularly of people with disabilities, are handled by NHS organisations in England is highly critical of the lack of transparency and insensitive treatment of bereaved families. The Department of Health in England will be taking steps to ensure that procedures are improved.
