The Claimant was a minor, aged eight years at the time of her Infant Settlement Approval Hearing in June 2006. She instructed us through her mother and litigation friend in connection with a claim arising out the Defendants failure to properly monitor the site of the Claimant’s cannula after an operation performed on 11 August 1998 when the Claimant was a little under seven months old.
