CLARKSON BEGINS ROLE AS HEAD OF ED’S MARINE BUSINESS

Heather Clarkson has this week started her new role at global specialty broker Ed, having been appointed to lead the company’s marine business. Clarkson has joined from Aon Risk Services, where she served as chief broking officer for marine, and head of hull. She was also a member of Aon’s global and London marine executive committees. Clarkson previously spent more than 20 years with Marsh, serving in the broker’s Montreal and London offices. At Ed, she will report to Andrew Draycott, chief executive for energy, marine and construction. Clarkson said: “The Ed story and their vision for the future of our industry is compelling. The opportunity to be a part of it and to drive the marine business forward was impossible to pass up.”
