Figure 11.2 (referred to on p 489 of the main text) is fundamentally incorrect, since the prolongation damages ought properly to be for the period occupied by the disruption damages and the disruption damages are not necessarily limited solely to the delay period, paragraph 21–023 stating the correct position with regard to prolongation costs.
