A note of caution

Molodi v Cambridge Vibration Maintenance Service [2018] EWHC 1288 (QB)

The High Court has pointed out that if a claimant’s account were demonstrably untruthful or hopelessly inconsistent, the court should be reluctant to accept the claim as genuine, as the problem of fraudulent or exaggerated whiplash claims was well recognised, and should be approached by county court judges hearing whiplash claims, with a degree of caution.
