HANOVER HIRES CERNAK FROM MUNICH RE TO HEAD CYBER UNIT

US property/casualty insurer Hanover Insurance Group has named Eric Cernak as head of its cyber operation to oversee corporate cyber strategy across all its commercial and specialty lines. Cernak joins from Munich Re, where he served for 20 years in its Hartford Steam Boiler unit, most recently as vice-president and US cyber practice leader. The Hanover’s cyber practice targets small and medium-sized business.
