VANDENDAEL TO LEAVE LLOYD’S
Lloyd’s chief commercial officer, Vincent Vandendael, is to leave the corporation after almost six years in the role. Vandendael is to become chief executive of international insurance at Everest Insurance in early 2019. Vandendael is the latest senior executive to announce his departure from Lloyd’s. Chief executive, Inga Beale, and chief financial officer, John Parry, are already scheduled to depart. As chief commercial officer, Vandendael was responsible for business development and leading Lloyd’s global network of 31 offices. He was also set to take up the post of chief executive of Lloyd’s Brussels, which is due to start writing business from January 1, 2019. Lloyd’s said Vandendael will be working with the team over the coming months to transition his responsibilities for the new Lloyd’s Brussels hub. His leaving date would be announced “in due course”.
