Payments sector wins extra time to implement Strong Customer Authentication

Firms are being given more time to implement ‘Strong Customer Authentication’ (SCA) measures, which take effect on 14 September under the revised Payment Services Directive. From then they must use two or three SCA elements to authenticate customers making remote electronic transactions.
