Crypto-derivatives ban lined up for Q1 2020

The sale of crypto-derivatives is expected to be banned to UK retail investors in the first quarter of 2020. The retail prohibition will also cover marketing as well as distribution and will extend to all derivatives (contract for differences, options and futures) along with exchange-traded notes that reference unregulated transferable cryptoassets by firms acting in, or from, the United Kingdom.
