HILB ACQUIRES AVANTI ASSOCIATES IN NEW YORK

US broker The Hilb Group has acquired Avanti Associates, a New York-based intermediary that provides personal and commercial property/casualty, life/health, employee benefits and estate planning products and services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Avanti is comprised of Associated Insurance Agency of Westchester, Comprehensive Insurance Brokerage, and Bruce Farnham Associates. The Avanti team will continue to operate from offices in Armonk and Pelham under current leaders John D’Amato, Ann Marie Papa, Anthony Villani and Peter O’Brien.
