Cardiologist warns over e-cigarette health risks

Countries should consider banning e-cigarettes, according to a cardiologist behind new research that shows the damage they cause to the brain, heart, blood vessels and lungs. Professor Thomas Münzel, of the Department of Cardiology of the University Medical Centre Mainz in Germany, who led the study, warned about the dangers of e-cigarettes, particularly for young people.
