Work-related stress cases at 18-year high

Total annual cases of work-related stress are at an 18-year high, figures released by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) for 2018/2019 have revealed. The statistics show that stress continues to be a significant cause of workplace ill-health in Great Britain, with 602,000 workers suffering from work-related stress, depression or anxiety and 12.8 million working days lost as a result in 2018/2019.
