Report highlights assaults on prison staff
Community, the largest union in the privatised justice and custodial sector, has criticised what it calls “ongoing failures
of government to improve safety” following the publication of the Ministry of Justice’s quarterly “Safety in Custody” report
which has revealed the highest recorded number of assaults on prison staff.
