FCA closes first case in claims management sector with £70,000 fine

A Mayfair and Southend claims managerspecialising in payment protection insurance wasthe first claims management company to haveits case closed by the FinancialConduct Authority after it assumed responsibility from the Claims ManagementRegulator. Professional Personal Claims Limited has been orderedto pay £70,000 for “misleading consumers through its websites and printed materials”.
