MARSH & MCLENNAN AGENCY ACQUIRES MOMENTOUS INSURANCE IN CALIFORNIA

Marsh & McLennan Agency, the middle-market commercial broking unit of global broker Marsh, has acquired Momentous Insurance Brokerage, a California-based intermediary that specialises in insurance solutions for high-net-worth private clients in the entertainment industry. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. All 220 Momentous associates from its offices in Los Angeles and Torrance, California and New York City will join MMA, and Momentous president and chief executive Diane Brinson will continue to head the business. “Diane and her team have built a strong business known for its commitment to clients, colleagues and the community,” said Chris Williams, chief executive of MMA’s western US region.
