Wilson v Beko plc [2019] EWHC 3362 (QB)

The High Court has heard a case that included argument about the application of the Consumer Protection Act 1987 s41(1) and the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 1994 (SI 1994 No 3260) and their applicability to a claim for breach of statutory duty following a house fire caused by a defective fridge freezer in which the claim was brought outside the 10-year limitation period in Pt I of the Act and Council Directive 85/374/EEC.
