It is customary to include long extracts of Conventions, Statutes and Contracts in the Appendices of legal books. Although this can sometimes be convenient for readers, it is increasingly wasteful in an era when most of these materials are easily available on the web—often in more up to date versions than are printed in the books. For this reason, the authors have decided to reduce the Appendices as much as possible.
