USPTO report suggests ‘close eye’ needed on AI evolution

Respondents to the US Patent and Trademark Office’s call for comments on artificial intelligence (AI) have warned that the office and stakeholders must keep a close eye on legal and scientific developments to ensure the US keeps up with this critical technology.
