Adjudication and insolvency continued

In John Doyle Construction Ltd (in liquidation) v Erith Contractors Ltd [2020] EWHC 2451 (TCC) Fraser J held that the claimant, which had entered into a creditors’ voluntary liquidation, was not entitled to enforce the decision of an adjudicator in its favour. In so concluding he paid careful attention to the decision of the Supreme Court in Bresco Electrical Services Ltd (in liquidation) v Michael J Lonsdale (Electrical) Ltd [2020] UKSC 25 (on which see our July 2020 issue pp 1–7).
