Hartford’s income falls 14% on cat losses but beats forecast
US property/casualty, group benefits and mutual funds group Hartford Financial Services saw its third-quarter net earnings
fall 14% to $453m, reflecting a more than doubling of catastrophic losses to $229m and $72m in Covid-related losses.
