These appeals arose out of jurisdictional challenges brought by the defendants in five sets of proceedings brought against them by the plaintiffs, Grains and Industrial Products Trading Pte Ltd (GRIPT) and Bunge SA (BSA). GRIPT and BSA were from the same company group (the Bunge Group).
