Apple sued over watch cardio tech

Watch series 4 and 5 alleged to contain infringing technologies relating to detection of irregular heartbeats; alleged appropriation has ‘derived substantial revenues’

Tech giant Apple has been hit with a patent infringement lawsuit in Texas filed by a medical device firm, which claims the Californian company appropriated patented technology relating to cardiac monitoring in its smart watch range.
