Germany halts UPC ratification after facing more challenges
Two constitutional complaints mean plans to sign UPC agreement into law are put on hold

Germany’s ongoing attempt to ratify the Unitary Patent Court (UPC) agreement has once again been deferred, after the Federal Constitutional Court (Bundesverfassungsgericht or BVerfG) asked president Frank-Walter Steinmeier to postpone passing the bill into law following newly filed constitutional complaints.The rest of this document is only available to i-law.com online subscribers.
