LOCKTON’S MYLO UNIT NAMES BJORNSON AS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Mylo, the insurtech broking unit of US broker Lockton that targets individuals and businesses, has appointed Dana Bjornson as chief financial officer. With more than 25 years of financial-services experience in new business development and mergers and acquisitions, Bjornson joins from investment firm George K Baum & Co, where he served as chief financial and compliance officer. In the new post, he will assume a leading role in bringing Mylo up to scale and helping the company implement growth plans, expand into new markets, develop new products and expand use of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Mylo chief executive David Embry said: “Dana’s expertise will allow us to accelerate our growth and scale our company as an insurtech innovator.”
