COVERDRONE ESTABLISHES EU PRESENCE

Coverdrone has established an entity in the Netherlands as part of its post-Brexit strategy. The UK-based drone insurer has registered Coverdrone EU B.V. in the Netherlands. The move enables Coverdrone to sell insurance policies in the Netherlands and the rest of the European Union. “We have had a long-standing connection with the Netherlands since the inception of Coverdrone and it was a natural fit for us when choosing a home in the EU,” the company said. Coverdrone policies in the EU, which offer the same benefits as cover already provided to UK clients, will also accommodate new EASA rules that came into effect on January 1, 2021, it said.
