AIRMIC SIGNALS RETURN TO PHYSICAL EVENTS IN 2021

Risk management association Airmic has announced it is cautiously planning for a return to physical events in the second half of 2021, and for the return of its flagship annual conference in October. Airmic said while digital events will take place in the first half of 2021 because of the dangers of Covid-19, it is planning to gradually reintroduce physical events as soon as it is safe to do so. The 2020 annual conference was changed to an online one in May 2020 because of the spread of the coronavirus and the various local lockdowns. The association said it will make a final decision on whether to go ahead with the 2021 annual get-together for insurance buyers and risk managers.
