WIA ACQUIRES 1ST PATRIOT INSURANCE SERVICES IN TEXAS

US broking group World Insurance Associates has acquired 1st Patriot Insurance Services, a Texas-based intermediary specialising in motor liability, physical damage, general liability and motor truck cargo insurance to trucking companies across the south of the state. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. 1st Patriot will continue to operate from its offices in Pharr, El Paso and Laredo under the leadership of chief executive Robert Long. WIA chief executive Rich Eknoian said: “1st Patriot Insurance Services is known for high quality, competitive pricing and excellent customer service, and we are confident they will continue to grow under WIA.”
