ASTON LARK TO ACQUIRE TWO UK HEALTH BROKERS

Goldman Sachs-backed Aston Lark has announced two further acquisitions, expanding its health insurance business. The UK insurance broker has agreed terms to acquire health insurance intermediaries Right to Health and The Health Insurance Specialists. The two deals, which are expected to complete in early March, follow the acquisition of Private Healthcare Managers in August 2020 and the hire of former CEO of specialist Private Medical Insurance broker Chase Templeton, Warren Dickson, as UK retail managing director in September 2020. Aston Lark has made a string of acquisitions in the past year, including MS Amlin’s marine pleasure craft book of business and Lloyd’s broker Protean Risk, as well as two UK regional specialist brokers owned by Risk Alliance Group.
