MILLER HIRES DUO TO UK PROFESSIONS TEAM

London market wholesale broker Miller has added Paddy Synnott and Joe Newbury to its UK professions team. The hiring of Synnott and Newbury, both professional Indemnity specialists, strengthens Miller’s professional indemnity market capabilities, it said. Ed Pickard, head of UK Professions at Miller, said: “In the current hard market, clients need to be able to rely on their brokers to support them – these new hires respond to that and confirm Miller’s ongoing commitment to excellent client service.” According to his LinkedIn profile, Synnott rejoins Miller, having left in 2019 to join Lockton, where he was account director until January 2021. Newbury also joined Miller in January from professional indemnity insurance broker Brunel Professions.
