BEAZLEY FORMS DIGITAL BUSINESS UNIT

Specialist insurance company Beazley has created a digital business unit to encourage the development of its digital initiatives and platforms. The new capabilities will be underpinned by Beazley’s “strong foundations in e-trading” and will aim to improve and grow its online platform. Beazley Digital will consolidate the digital business by creating a one-stop shop where partners can access all of the company’s products and services in one trading portal. The unit will also develop new underwriting and risk management solutions that arise from opportunities in data and technology, to ensure optimal client and broker insurance execution. The new digital business unit will be led by Ian Fantozzi, who will remain Beazley’s chief operating officer until a new replacement is found.
