There are two main benefits, writes SueGrossey, of being my age (as “Frasier” [1] has it, “I am not ‘of a certainage’ – I am smack dab in the middle of ‘not a kid any more’ and won’t be ‘of acertain age’ for another ten years”). The first benefit is that I have had myCovid jab. And the second is that I can look at money laundering and moneylaunderers with the experience of thirty years. These days I am exercised andinterested less by the new methods they might devise (cuckoo smurfing, anyone?)than by their characteristics and motivations. In other words, I look now notso much at the what, when, where and how, as the who and the why.
