CFC BUYS AUSTRALIAN INCIDENT RESPONSE PROVIDER

Cyber managing general agent (MGA) CFC Underwriting has acquired Australian company Insane Technologies for an undisclosed sum. Insane Technologies is a cyber security and incident response provider, which has handled more than 2,000 cyber claims in the past year. “Like us, Insane have been handling cyber security incidents for over two decades and are one of the most experienced providers in the market,’ said Dave Walsh, chief executive of CFC. “We’re excited to bring their team of deeply-skilled technical experts in-house to help strengthen our proposition for our cyber insurance customers.’ The deal is subject to approval by the Australian Foreign Investment Board.
