GUY CARPENTER NAMES HEAD OF LONDON EUROPE

Guy Carpenter has appointed Sebastian Cook as managing director and head of London Europe, with immediate effect. He joins from Aon where he was most recently head of EMEA London and deputy chief executive for the Nordic and Baltic region with responsibility for the production and servicing of large accounts across Continental Europe. At Guy Carpenter, Cook will lead the London-based teams focusing on European business and the newly formed European Broking Solutions Team, which builds customised reinsurance strategies for the continent. He will also further develop the firm’s catastrophe strategy across the European region. Cook will report to Massimo Reina, chief executive for Europe at Guy Carpenter.
