BMS APPOINTS CAPITAL ADVISORY LEADER

Re/insurance broker BMS Group has hired Bruce Murdock as managing director in its capital management solutions advisory arm. Murdock was most recently a managing director and head of insurtech at Lockton Capital and has more than 30 years of experience in the industry. Romulo Braga, chief executive of BMS Capital Advisory, said the broker will be leveraging Murdock’s “broad market relationships” with corporate, venture and private equity investors to execute its strategy. The new appointment is effective immediately.
