Treasury moves ahead on LCF compensation and regulation of minibond issues

HM Treasury is cleaning up after the collapse of London & Capital Finance (LCF) by launching a consultation “to bring the issuance of minibonds into FCA regulation” and by setting up a compensation scheme for investors who lost money in the £230 million of minibonds issued by LCF.
